Bariatric surgery is the general term for a variety of weight loss surgical procedures that reduce the size of the stomach, helping patients to lose weight and maintain health through reduced consumption, healthy eating and exercise. The surgery is a tool, not a cure, to help treat weight problems. Our mission is to help patients transform their lives through surgical weight loss when nonsurgical attempts have been unsuccessful.
Dr Sarkhel has basic psychiatric training in Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Learning Disability, Forensic Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Substance Abuse. He then completed specialist Registrar training in Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry. He has published a number of research articles in peer-reviewed journals and is an examiner for The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
You don’t have to be an athlete to notice how nutrition can impact your performance. For you it could be your performance at work, in the gym, or at home with your family.
