Part of my work in clinic is to identity and address the root cause which is responsible for the symptoms a client is experiencing. The most common underlying condition I see is unbalanced hormones. Currently, she is a PhD researcher specialising in obesity and the prevention of diabetes in ethnic minority groups. As an associate lecturer, she enjoys delivering lectures in universities and engaging with her students. She is also an active member of Diabetes UK, regularly delivering presentations across Yorkshire. Simultaneously, she works for the NHS weight management service supporting patients through a 12-week programme.

He then completed specialist Registrar training in Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry. He has published a number of research articles in peer-reviewed journals and is an examiner for The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
