The way we do this is through metabolic resistance training that is designed to increase lean muscle tissue (which is metabolically active). One of the biggest myths we hear is that women don’t want to ‘bulk up’ but the opposite will happen with this type of training. Muscle takes up less space than fat (per unit of weight) and so adding muscle will lead to a decrease in fat as metabolism is elevated. We also end each session with metabolic afterburner’s – exercises that are designed to keep metabolism elevated for 24-36 hours after each session.

Morbid obesity is defined as having a BMI of 40 or higher and typically means that you are 100 pounds or more overweight. As the second leading cause of preventable death in the United States, obesity poses a major public health challenge.

Most nonsurgical weight loss programs are based on a combination of diet, behavior modification and regular exercise. Unfortunately, even the most effective interventions don't work for everyone. It's estimated that less than 5 percent of individuals who participate in nonsurgical weight loss programs will lose a significant amount of weight and maintain that loss for an extended period of time.
“I had heard lots of stories about slimming pills, so I was naturally skeptical about attending a clinic. The doctor prescribed for me a course of tablets and a diet. I did not take them for the first week because of my doubts but I have to say, that apart from a dry mouth for the first few days, they were marvelous and I lost weight almost like magic. Yes, they worked and were safe.”
The most important factors for change in reducing and ultimately managing your obesity are your diet, exercise and permanent behaviour modification. All these combined will greatly assist in the reduction of your weight.
