During this phase, the dieter moves to a 40/30/30 eating plan where 40 percent of calories consumed come from carbohydrates, 30 percent come from fats and 30 percent come from protein.
"My wedding day was fast approaching and I had been frustratingly unable to get to my target weight.  Metabolic Balance was the thing that made the difference.  It is a tough programme but it gets results.  I felt fabulous on my wedding day, not just because I was happy with my weight but my skin was glowing and I had no bloating or puffiness that I had before"
A: After the UltraShape procedure, released contents of the broken-down fat cells are naturally cleared by the body over a 2-4 week period. Circumference and fat thickness reduction is usually seen within the first 14 – 28 days post treatment. Maximum results are seen about 28 days post the final treatment. Monitoring of your results will be performed using the InBody Analyzer and serial measurements.

When it comes to dieting and exercise, there is a lot of talk of ‘willpower’. This can backfire and make a person feel bad about them. For example, a person that has tried to unsuccessfully lose weight over and over again will end up feeling they have no willpower or are lazy. With a bit of careful thought, one can see why such an assumption is irrational. How can a person that has tried dieting over and over again be lazy? In the same way, people that talk about willpower tend to have an extreme and radical view of dieting and exercise, and their militant approach to weight loss might not apply to everyone.

You cannot spot reduce! Weight loss results from an energy deficit; burning more calories than you take in. Aerobic exercise will help create this energy deficit. Genetics and gender play a role in where we store excess fat and where it comes off first. Abdominal exercises will tighten and tone the abdominals but will not directly affect the layer of abdominal adipose.
Our free monthly support groups provide opportunities before and after surgery to learn and ask questions of our dietitian, psychologist and bariatric nurse, as well as patients who share their personal stories about the challenges and successes of weight loss surgery. Support groups are open to anyone who has had or is planning to have weight loss surgery.
It is not just women who can benefit from visiting a London Weight Loss Clinic.
